Because, A. He hasn't played internationally since 2019 and B. He plays over here and won't get picked. |

Only Alfie Langer as I’m aware played State of Origin while still at Wire.
This also made him selectable for the Green and Gold.
So the loophole is there, and if Vaughan was selected for SOO, any test games would have counted
I can only assume Vaughan was either not selected for SOO at the time just prior to his infamous c-19 bbq.

All moot points when it comes to Vaughan. He's already served 2 matches of his ban and we'll have at least a couple of friendlies before the season starts (hopefully 3 so that he can get a pre-season game under his belt).
