Quote: Moe syslak "But that was a bloke on the floor pretending to be injured. And nobody knows at the time if an injury is genuine or not, so that is a big no no. Vaughan grabbed a bloke who was already getting up of his own accord.'"
But was getting up slowly; Vaughan assumed it was time wasting but he didn’t know. It would hardly be the first injured player gets up gingerly. The circumstances are comparable, and to be fair to the MRP if we scream consistency at them, they are being consistent in this circumstance.
The reality is both instances were handled incredulously, but until we as fans stop pointing and laughing because “it’s those over the other side of the hills turn this time” the MRP will continue to do as they are doing; ruining the sport. Tribalism has let them create a situation where they have as much sway over a season as a ref does and that’s just insane.
