Nowadays we have been south stand bandits since the new place opened.

I seem to remember they only had 2 or 3 military marches that would play on the wind up gramophone as pre match entertainment.

Some of the gentlemen I stand near in the South Stand just need a bit of Deep Heat and they are there!

Hmm I only remember old grannies at the games or maybe I was just so young

I used to go in all areas of Wilderspool including the old and new stands. And did a few seasons at pond corner where the clients were very level headed knowledgable guys.
The best thing that happened was putting the gate in to prevent the yobs running round the ground to start fights.

And there was a bog there at the side of the stand tho many folk ed against the corrugated fence.

The trains used to slow down to get the score to pass it on at the station
