If ,as we have heard ,some other antipodeans are restless to go home post McGuire , i think Powell should exclude them from the team & pick a team which is at least singing from the same hymn sheet. Put a game plan together round them ,any Aussies that want to stay & whatever academy players are available & that would be the team against Saints. Drop the rest & get them plane tickets asap. Perhaps too radical for the Wire though.

The division (if there is one) needs to be addressed head on and resolved.

And when our side, consisting of several untried academy players, inevitably got bummed by 50 or 60 pts, this forum would just tell us how much it was Powell's fault....

You're right there DSM but at least we might see some cohesive effort & we won't be in the relegation mix this year.

Let's be honest .. it's the Second year on the bounce that we have both off field player unrest and adversity on the field which Daryl seems unable to negotiate..the board though will again save him by their own apathy to the situation
