At Cas Powell built team a that played good rugby but won nothing. Most of the team were average players but he got the best out of them. I'm not convinced he's able to to do the same with a team of "stars".

I thought the fans did their best last night considering the dross served up. There was mild booing at half-time which was to be expected really after that 40 minutes - other than that the stadium was just filled with the heavy sighs of impending defeat throughout - the same noise that filled the stadium throughout last season.

Powell needs to realise it's a two-way street, he gave us very little to try and support last night as has been the case for the past two months.

Fans being blamed and injuries/players missing being blamed also (Leeds and every other team have just the same issues if not worse) - it's just poor from a coach and he has to go.

Yes I was dissapointed with that. He could have said "paying spectators are entitled to their opinion".

He also confirmed he does not feel under pressure.

Lots of excuses again and it's everyone elses fault. He seems to forget we were playing poorly before Williams was injured and Harrison banned.

I see the goal now is "top 6" aka "6th is good enough".

Dunno why it irks me so much, but being able to call the CEO a nickname "Fitzy" just doesn't emit professionalism.

Also, on the fans booing piece, I don't boo personally but I'm pretty sure 50% or more of the boos are aimed at Daryl, not the players.

He's complaining about "Drinky" (shudder) having a different halfback partner whilst also commissioning Dean to be away from the club.

I'm also confused about this Mikaele piece. If the rumours are true he told us off season, agreed to stay whilst the grub served his first ban and left on a high. Sounds like plenty of notice was given.

Blaming the fans, or injuries, or the schedule or the weather is a sure sign of a coach who knows he has neither the wit, ability or respect to sort things out.

It's cowardly, and when I hear comments/digs about paying customers having the audactity to complain I lose any semblance of sympathy for him, and I fall a little more out of love with the club that allows him to make such comments.

Well I won't be booing against Saints (I don't boo anyway) because I won't be going. I'm not rocking up until DP and KFP have gone. Absolutely sick of us being such a basket case and the lack of direction the club has.

Strange comparison to make. What did Leeds actually do to halt this struggle? The coach resigned before he was pushed and they hired a new coach with new ideas, and he took them to the GF. I’m all up for doing that tbh.

This is a notion that the fans negativity is impacting the players performance, being spouted by the guy who sits alone in the coaches box for 15 minutes after a game, going into a huge game (against the team likely to be directly below us in the table) in 8 days.

If we’re looking to spread some positivity and encouragement, get in the sheds and pick that team up, do your flaming job and get them prepared to get out there next week! It’s a Thursday night, school night, moneys tight and he/the club have the cheek to suggest that the fans aren’t doing their bit!
