I dont get where this comes from, he's always up there defensively. Stats below are from our first loss.

Saints and Wakefield weren't great but there were a few with poor stats.

The only people ever ahead of him are hooker, loose and props which is to be expected.

Liam Farrell has a completely different mental attitude than Ben Currie

Liam Farrell is a superb player. Leads by example, uncompromising, disciplined, aggressive, good hands, great lines and you get the feeling he would die for the cause. There is no accusation of show pony about him.

Yes, he is all of that and like any player that signs with Wigan has the "you will die for this club" mantra drummed in.

Currie's drop near the end summed it up for me - lack of focus and intent. Most of the other players were poor but he only seems to play well when everyone else has done the hard work and set the platform. He would have been one of the players I'd have replaced last year.

I’m happy with a 3 year deal for Currie.
