| Niall Evalds would be a great capture for Warrington for next year but you will have some competition to sign him.
Believed to be leaving Cas at the end of the season.

| Quote Nantwich One="Nantwich One"Ratchford unfortunately will be too old for next season ... Ashton an out an out winger and I like Josh but susceptible under the high ball when he's given the chance ... So would prefer him on the wing also ... But we should pursue British options from here on in if this is now the norm of Warringtons overseas recruitment'"
Ashton isn't an out an out winger, he arrived at the club as a fullback. He has developed into a top class winger, but he was just as impressive in his early days with us playing at fullback.

| And there’s nothing unfortunate about Ratchford getting older, the quicker he retires the better.
Thewlis #1 and just back the lad, he’ll be great.

Unfortunately, backing people isn't really something we do, is it, I mean, look at the 10 zillion posts on the Powell Out thread?...

Ratchford is still our best at beating a man with footwork and an excellent defender. In fact our left hand side was the dangerous side on Sunday; the right hand side was the debacle.

| Niall Evalds? Max Jowitt? Who's next, Jamie Shaul?
Thewlis, Thewlis, Thewlis. Is the answer.

| The Wolves were warned about McGuire’s disciplinary record before he made the move from the NRL.
In 2021, while playing for St George Illawarra Dragons, he was handed two separate five match bans, either side of a one-game ban for breaching the NRL’s COVID-19 biosecurity protocols.
The former Australia international played more than 250 games in the NRL for the Dragons, North Queensland and Brisbane Broncos, where he made his name between 2009 and 2018.
So why did Fitzpatrick and whoever else knew sign Maguire
Just shows how bad it may be at the club at present.
