Until that point he'll have to make do with having had a decent game in a dominant Wigan performance that saw them massacre us by 7 points.'"
FYI Wigan have been making the change of position during games tactically to get French to 1 and Field to 6. King has been moving to the wing and Cust has been phased out for longer and longer periods during games.
It was at this point it became obvious the move would be made longer term given this is when we started to tick as a team and score points. King like Miski was very effective on the wing for periods in games because he is another player that makes robust carries and big metres. You would be stupid to use a bench spot on a winger but it was always coming down to how is the team more effective. Is it with Cust in the team or Miski, it’s clear Cust was being phased to cover half and doing spells at 9. I think the form of O’Neil and Miski means he will struggle to get back in the 17 when everyone is fit.
Do you have to win a Grand Final to be considered a good player? Some very average players have been part of successful teams that have won Grand Finals….Gill Dudson for example.
