Wire were impressive tonight in a totally different way to last week.
The first half defensive display was truly immense.
OK so we contributed a little with pens/knock ons in that period of the game, but to come off at HT 8-0 after defending 5 or 6 sets on our own line - well I've not seen that for a long time.
We also slipped up and switched off a little towards the end allowing them in for 2 quick tries, and the scoreline on the whole was fair imo.
If it had been 26-6 that would have flattered us.
Huddersfield definately restricted us in the first half so fair play to their forwards. In the 2nd half Pryce caused us a lot of trouble.
Pleased for Ratch. He kelp Naiquaima fairly quiet for most of the night, and 5 out of 5 goal kicks can't be faulted.
One frustrating thing for me and fans around me was that the ref seemed to give a lot of 6 agains etc and it was really difficult to see why.
MOM?
Really not sure. Kasiano made a big impact when he was on and scuttled a few - some great handling for the Harrison tey.
Harrison played really well.
Danny Walker seemed to have a good game too.

Yeh and the must of trained in the wheel tappers and shutters club. Now we’ve had a meeting of the committee and passed a resolution………………. You lot of the age of all this can fill it in
Ah okay. I remember reading in the guardian last year that Powell was taking charge of the attack and Sheridan on defence. Danny Evans wasn’t mentioned.
Either way, Richard Marshall is clearly an asset in this department. We seem to be putting the pieces of the jigsaw in the right places behind the scenes.
