I'm sorry, but if we are handing out 8+ game bans for name calling, whatever its nature, then we really are losing it as both a sport and a society.

Surely, if we want to set punishments for this type of thing, then substantial fines and being sent to educational courses woukd be far more beneficial for the individuals involved, considering the offences from both players involved had no bearing on the result of the match, which, for me, is only when an actual side needs punishing, as both Wire and Leigh will be here in this instance.

There is form with this, Tony Clubb got 8 matches for abusing Savelio.

Unfortunately, we live in a very very woke country/world, and if this upsets the said woke brigade because of this, (between 2 players who will make up after anyway), we are fooked.
