I'd think 8 games for what McGuire allegedly said would be harsh. Steve Price only got a rap across the knuckles, but then I suppose he wasn't aiming that language at anyone.
I think it's a one game ban and a bit of cultural re-education needed.

Hope it wasn’t race-related. McGuire is already one of my favourite players after seeing him in pre-season and on Saturday.
I know all about his disciplinary record due to his in-your-face style, but I’m not aware of any previous issues over this type of thing. He seems like a really decent guy off the field. |
