| I think they're contenders for my least favourite wire kits ever. Don't like the home, really don't like the away, I didn't like last year's either.
The powell era is notable by utterly crap kits IMO (apart from the magic kit which was alright), hopefully the rugby is better next season anyway, then I won't care about the kit.

| Home shirt is reminiscent of 1954 season
The famous Odsal kit.
I’m not keen on the murky green and busy diagonal striped alternative, not a patch of the magic green shirt, but neither was I going to buy a one game shirt either.

| Quote: rubber duckie "Home shirt is reminiscent of 53/54 season when we drew at Wembley, then beat Halifax in the replay at Odsal.
Yes, I noticed that too Duckie, hopefully it will bring us the same success.

| I'm not unhappy with either shirt but not with that sponsor's graphic. By that I mean if we're happy with the main logo and obviously the revenue then that should be a first principle design consideration and it doesn't appear to be. Particularly as it seems that the diameter of the Hoover plate is fixed

| I suspect they are trying to appeal to two different demographics - the home is a nod to the kits of the 50s and 80s and the away is a leisure, contemporary attempt.
To be fair, I think they are fine and anyway I'm of an age when replica jerseys are for wearing in bed on cold nights with a cheeky Harveys.
For 2023, it's what goes on inside them that really care about.
