Now that Holmes has left, I suppose it does leave the door open now to bring in a centre and hopefully a half back, time will tell! Wrench will miss a large proportion of the year given his serious injury and I would prefer we brought in a skilful out & out centre rather than putting Ratchford there or a second rower.

Few rumours circulating about Gildart and Drinkwater coming in, I’d be pretty satisfied if we did bring them two in. As usually we are leaving it until last minute to compete our recruitment

So most are back in preseason, kassiano, Vaughan and Dufty due next week. So if it’s to be Drinkwater when is that being announced and then him getting into early training, ofc Williams will get extended time off.

I don’t know what it is, but the team on those photos by the Guardian just looks different this year. Maybe it’s so many new faces, but it looks like a team that’s trim and focussed.

I hope it’s not just the camera angle or my mind playing tricks.
