Regarding the 2 year deal, it might have been the case that with so many others leaving Ratch could have had the upper hand in the length of the contract IF Warrington only wanted to give him a 1 year deal.
For me full back is his best position followed by his versatility to play anywhere from 1-7 and 13 at a push.
Yes he'll do a job for us in the halves but throughout his career he's never really excelled there.

Agree, preseason almost here would hope that we had all deals done before then. And starting to fear if this does not come off we will be stuck with Ratchford, I have already said would prefer Hayes or Dean there if we not sorted out.

Smokescreen . The deal is already done , my source informs me it was completed 10 days ago, the initial attempt to sign Oliver Gildart who was in talks with DP obviously fell through ,
