Genuine questions

1. Do you accept your pre season statement about a light mobile pack was fundamentally wrong, particularly in view of the fact that you have adopted the complete opposite approach for next year ? If so, why did you fundamentally get that assessment wrong ?

2. Is it a concern for us fans that there was little sign of improvement in the side at the back end of the season despite the vast majority of the squad being your choices ?

3. What will be yours and your coaching staffs change in philosophy in pre season to ensure we do not endure a repeat of this seasons shambles

4. What lessons will you learn from this season and why ?

5. Seriously , what is the next 2/3 year plan in terms of rebuilding the side to be competitive ?

I could go and appreciate to many, these questions appear on the face of it to be negative but the mistakes need to be honestly understood and the infrastructure rebuilt. Instead of being negative I’m asking honest questions.

Is it true that several tackling bags have being reprimanded for being too hard on our props and as a result have put in transfer requests?

My question is a simple one...

WTF?

I for one would be interested in seeing peoples submitted questions posted on here so we can have a degree of transparency as to what was filtered out. I understand taking out some questions that are simply ridiculous, but if there are some credible but difficult questions taken out, it would show the value placed on the exercise.

A question that I have submitted is:

“The club removed of a number of players throughout the year, most of which appeared to be a starting member of your first choice team as the beginning of the season. What changed to make these players expendable?”

I think the tackling bags went on loan at the start of the season in exchange for turnstiles....

Ok aerious question (though I am curious about that tacking bag rumour)

Assuming the 2023 pack delivers the go-forward, posession, momentum, dominance and field position that we would reasonably expect - how do we intend to convert that into points, given the lack of incisiveness from our halves in 2022?

Williams has a great kicking game within the opposition 20 see the tries Currie scored at the back end of the season, hopefully us being up there more often will make a big difference there. We do need a tactical kicking game as well though and unless Dean or Hayes can provide it (big ask for young players in the pressure couldron the start of the year will be for Powell), then we dont currently have that in the squad.

My question would, has this been identified and will it be addressed before the start of the season? Are we going to be offloading a prop (Philbin would be my choice he's likely to be on a good wage and doesn't make much impact) and signing a centre and a half?

I'd also be interested to know how Powell feels he will have to perform to keep his position and how long he feels he will have to get it right.
