| Looks like we're here to help with Powells first win, Rowley has included six players no Salford fan has ever heard of, must have dragged them off the street, and included players like Greenwood who's been injured all season, i'd forgotton all about him and Escare and Livett who've been ruled out for the season. He's basically pulled the first 17 other than Cross and King. I think you might just nick it.

TBH wasn't that nearly always just a high kick to the wing - sure we got a bunch of trys from Hicks & Monaghan doing it, but it was hardly a fluid / dynamic attacking strategy that cleverly unpicked a defence.
(Recognising there's a definite skill to kick it (under pressure) in the right place repeatedly, which I'm not sure we've currently got anyway).

2011 we were red hot with flowing attacking moves - Brett Hodgson at full back, King and Bridge in the centres, Briers and Myler at half.

| We also had dummy runners all over the place, something we have not seen since 2014 which is an absolute basic of rugby league.
Hopefully a dominant pack will give us the energy for plenty of life in the attack in the opposition 20.

Brett Hodgson was the key for me. He hit the line so well with great pace. We played lovely rugby.
Myler has lasted much longer than I thought & he has adapted his game.

We did get a lot of tries with kicks to the wing but also scored a lot from breaks from deep where we had supporting runners bursting through the middle, Myler, Atkins, Hodgson. Also Michael Monaghan was pretty good at making things happen inside the other team's 20. We didn't exactly play champagne rugby eg Saints under Millward or Cas in 2017 but we had a lot of ways to overrun teams who were generally backpedalling against our pack.

We did. The most potent Warrington attack threat I have seen since Tony Barrow's1986 side with Andy Gregory, Mark Robert, Mike Greg, Boyd, et al
