Every year we say this. In the late TS era we were bragging about how we had so many home grown products in the first team. That's great if you're a winning side like Wigan but pretty worthless when you're at the wrong end of the table.
Anyway I can see the narrative on here next year - when all the new big signings come in and we're still losing everyone will be demanding they get dropped and bring back the young team from 2022 because "at least they had pride in the shirt".
