What if, indeed, this did happen (or attempts were made) but the coaching staff either refused citing it was DP’s way or the highway, or the response wasn’t to the player’s satisfaction?

This is all hearsay. All that matters in professional sport is results. Since coming in, DP has taken us from third from top to third from bottom*. Those calling for his sacking/resignation might subside for now, but it’s clear his and KP’s management of the playing staff this season has been disgraceful.

At least we don't need to pay for any more pointless play off games & the torture of this season will be over in a couple of weeks.

What about if one of the teams on the fringes of the playoffs calls off a match because of "players getting covid" in an attempt to get an unfair advantage and the league investigates and deducts points.

You always have to be ready in case you're the next team up. Remember Denmark in Euro 92.
