We’ve clearly planned for 2023 to be in Super League. I’d dread to imagine what our squad would look like next year if we go down. It’s all well and good signing the likes of Maguire and Vaughan for 2023, but we need action now not in February 2023.

I simply can't understand that statement.

The board have (perhaps miguidedly) put in lots of money and supported the coaches.
Is this criticism because they appointed the main people including KF and haven't got rid?

Let's be clear, any money put in by directors will likely be put in as loans / share capital. If they decide to call it a day with the club they could demand the repayment of their loans and cash in their shares.
This is dangerous ground. Its one of the reasons I have been concerned with Powell's management, the poor performances affect the gate receipts, the sale of season tickets, replica shirts, future sponsors, private boxes etc. All the while people are arguing about the best position for players....its a business folks, the people in charge can do without the distractions and loss of prestige of being associated with a team whiçh can't win games. We need a winner coach, not one who has won a handful of games in the last 12 months if we include his last club Castleford as well. The club needs to quickly review what it wants to achieve and do!something about it. Rubbing along the bottom of the league and thinking that missing relegation is a result is not the ambition of a Warrington club.

I think a few people think it they were serious about it, they would appoint a serious CEO and exec team.

I don't think we'll get relegated, but whilst it's a mathematical possibility then the board need to take it very seriously because it would kill this club.

Even us just staying up this year will have a huge financial impact on the club for next season as fans will not be forking out their hard earned to come and be "entertained" with a continuation of the rubbish we've had to put up with this year.

We are not a project for a stubborn coach who seemingly cannot inspire even players he has worked with for years.....we are The Wire, and we deserve so much better.

If saints go to Wakefield and put in a wire type performance and get walloped then tha alarm bells will be ringing louder than they've ever done.. remember saints at London a few years back and Toulouse early this season.

Their last two league fixtures are versus Wakefield and Toulouse.

It looks like the Top Spot for Saints will be already secured by then, so I expect them to field an Academy Team , for at least one of those games.
