We wouldn't come back up if we kept him after being relegated

Something I’d heard from a good source, I wouldn’t have posted it but someone else mentioned it in another thread somewhere recently so I believe it’s common knowledge. I think it was down to how he was speaking to/treating people.

Whilst I don't want it to happen, being relegated maybe just the kick up the backside that our club executive custodians need.

We are complacent, mediocre, unresponsive and unprofessional. We are also lacking pride and will happily use our lack of success as some type of "always our year" joke. We set, and accept, low standards for sporting achievement and player behaviour. The only thing that we have in our favour is wealthy owners which allows us to try and buy our way out of trouble with imported talent who often go on to underperform.

Taking fans for granted, not valuing their support and treating with contempt via ridiculous gimmicks. As for being connected with the fans - they supress information whilst simultaneously being duplicitous and are always last to make announcements. I suspect they deny free press access to the Warrington Guardian also as that reads like a North Korean critical column. They pump merchandising adverts at us at every time often just after humiliating performances. They must imagine us to be salivating dogs waiting for a bone to be thrown to them.

I fully expect to be hammered by Tolouse and 10 mins later get an email about an early bird offer for 2023 with a title "A new breed" or something equally trite.

Relegation is a very serious threat and we can’t rely on Wakefield and Toulouse losing every game until the end of the season. And if we continue to lose, it’ll only make our points difference worse.

Why do they tweet about Mikaele’s and Wardle’s tries from last night as if they’re something to celebrate after such a humiliating loss? Club needs to get a grip of itself and quickly.

They cannot, or will not, read a room.

If we have or had a team of players with poor attitude ,is it possible our overseas signings over the last few years ,even in Smith's time , have contributed to player attitude. In recent years we have seen some very poor imports on big money who have extracted the urine out of the club. Perhaps our long term players, on less money, have followed their lead. There have definitely been problems with our scouting procedure. Strangely enough we seem to have bucked our ideas up in that department since DP arrived ,providing we can keep these bruisers injury & suspension free.

I get where you're coming from, but would hope that the threat of relegation would suffice.

We need to keep them Championship free first and foremost.

Let's be candid - relegation would kill us for years. The players would rip up their contracts, the corporate sponsors would jump ship and dry up and revenue streams would be hit massively.

The owners already treat the club like a toy, so don't be suprised if they find somewhere else to spend their money if we go down.

Anybody saying relegation might be a good thing is baffling to me. Nothing good can come of that, we'd be stuffed
