Yes, looking at the Reserves fixtures at best it is 2 games per month - sometimes one. So at least he is getting some more regular game time with the flexibility to be recalled as and when needed. Definitely a win win. |

Don’t get it. Best half back performance of the season was Dean and Matautia against Hudd. Dean have comfortably the most complete performance by a wire half back this season.
Not saying he’s ready yet but would rather than than persisting with Ratchford in the halves. Don’t see any future in the current combination.

Really don't see why Dean didn't come to Saints on loan. He would benefit from that far more than semi-pro'ing it at Newcastle. You could have come to an agreement that he doesn't play against you should you perform miracles in the Play offs too. Would have been a win-win for all parties.
