I said on Twitter I'd have been raging if that was Saints losing to that call. But, it's a very difficult one to find a system for. The benefit of the doubt to the attacking team mantra comes into it, you can always flip your argument and say they can't prove he hasn't scored either. It's entirely possible the ball squirms off the hand under it or that he forces one end of it into contact with the grass. We'll likely never know and if it was disallowed, rather than being on this board, it'd be on Hull's with them saying the opposite.
Interesting tactics from Wire today I thought. Ultra quick play the balls, so many scoots or quick darts at the line and throwing it around like it's the last 5 minutes of the game all game. It looks very lively and threatening and is similar to how you used to play against Saints. It'll bring a lot of line breaks and I guess is playing to your strengths as it avoids the forwards. It's a flawed system though as playing at that intensity will bring about a lot of errors. Your outcome in a lot of games will likely be determined by how many balls you drop and you'll defeat yourselves at times.
