| For those who watch the NRL… has Magoulis always been that shape or is he completely out of shape because he’s not been able to play much and is returning from injury?
He looks like he’s been on the kebabs.

Maybe we are feeding him up to try to turn him in to a prop?
Although the props went alright last night. Bigger test against Hull though.

| Quote Captain Hook="Captain Hook"I did wonder if the 6 again hooter was on silent mode for us. Good to see that we can score from within the 20. There was clearly some team spirit shown, at least a couple of long range breaks could easily have resulted in tries (for us).
With Ratchford in the halves the left edge seems to benefit, the right not so much.
Will have done their confidence the world of good, but I suspect it is still quite fragile.
I thought Mulhern and Bullock put in good shifts last night, Cooper did his job and Philbin slightly more effective than of late.
Hughes was Hughes, Currie showed he can still cause problems.
D Clark put on a good show and Walker a live wire if a little “grabby” in the tackle. Magoulis, feeling his way, I feel he could turn into a Waterhouse, but that is probably wishful thinking .
In the backs, well I still think we are currently a better team with Ratch in rather than out.
I have high hopes of Thewlis and Ashton. I still think Charnley is a spent force I’m afraid, unless it is a walk in. King is class but needs a bit of time to get his confidence back. =#FF0080Mr Hop Skip and a Jump still has a way to go to get me onside.'"
Are you like James Stewart and have spotted Harvey the Pooka in our defensive line?

| Well I bloody enjoyed my night. We won. I discovered the Kings Head is my favourite place ever and met some more dead sound people in the South stand who didn’t mind me drunkenly asking if Mata’utia didn’t like winning.
Wasted a big chance in second half when he just didn’t see the pass to his right or chose to ignore it and turn inside.
I like Ratchford. He looks like the sorta lad who was going to Young Farmers nights well into his 20’s but would still get up at 4 am to do the milking. Reliable.

Agree, Mulhern had a decent game last night I'm no statto, but he did plenty of effective work and I do like Ratchford in the team great link play creating a running overlap.
I'm not convinced about Charnley's demise just yet, we hardly seem to play to our right these days and he was a shoe in surely if Mata'utia had slipped him a pass. Really enjoyed Burgess getting put into touch for his try attempt and near the 40 including the reaction, Currie coming across for high 5's showed a bit of togetherness (Atkins-esque ha ha)

That's a pity, I wanted to ask if the Pooka could play prop.

| Quote rubber duckie="rubber duckie"As I expected. 2 poor teams. Wire with enough to beat a depleted Salford, we’re lucky that Hull will be sore and depleted with a days less rest.
Hopefully if we don’t turn up late again, we may get a win there too.
That could be our only points until August.
I spoken to reps of the sponsors from Hoover, who are very disappointed with the season, but they are committed and see it as of transition.'"
Have you really spoken to hoover reps though? In the south stand beer queue?
