| 20,241 at Old Trafford to watch a game of women's football. That shows how far our game has fallen. Nothing to do with the cost of fuel.

| Quote Dita's Slot Meter="Dita's Slot Meter"A televised game on a subscription sports channel - the people who watched it on telly can't exactly be claiming they cant afford to go to the game because they are hard up, can they?
'"
Well you could watch it around a friend/family member’s house who has access to the channel which I chose to do. Don’t think that channel was being paid for either which would be the case in most instances. With the state of us at the minute and it being 2pm kick off on Mothers Day I estimated about a 3,000 attendance. KF could have let mother’s in free or for a quid but seems even he has given up at the minute.

| ….however I’m unsure there are that many people who hate their mother’s enough to take them to boost that attendance.

After last weeks disgraceful performance they should have let everyone in for a quid never mind just mothers. Although even that seems a bit pricey to watch this shower at the minute.

Not Morons. Think you call them fans. People who have that patience and perspective to appreciate a day out watching live RL, away from the stress’s of every day life. I would have been one of those ‘morons’ at the at Rhino’s game!

TBF that was £6 and £3 per ticket and for a family a decent chance to take their kids to a game at Old Trafford - so a family of 4 for less than the price of 1 adult in the South Stand. I daresay Man Utd Women's team will be back to Leigh playing in front of <2000 soon.
But I would say the HJ attendance will stir things up a bit - there's a huge effort needed onfield to get back to anywhere near 13k for SL games

Womens football is heavily piggy-backing off then men's game. Not a cat in hells chance that you'd get an attendance like that if punters had to pay over the odds for tickets.

It's moronic to clap a team after that performance yesterday and I'll never understand it. It's almost like you're saying that sort of performance is acceptable and accepting mediocrity.

| I was shocked when I saw that crowd announced on Twitter. Crowds in RL have been showing a bit of a resurgence over the last few weeks so for this number to drop was a surprise. I thought a smaller than average crowd with it being the cup and on Mother's Day, but still expected around the 6,500 mark.
I imagine the club will have been shocked by the crowd as well. How much of this are you putting down to your form and general lack of positivity around the club? Is Powell already under pressure?

My mate coaches a kids team and was given 30 free tickets for that women's game. I'd imagine more than half that attendance were freebies.

| What it is, is the stupid mentality of RL fans. You all cry out for a competitive league and when you get one you sulk, it's pathetic.
You lost because two games in a row you weren't as good as the opposition. The opposition was good, anyone will tell you, especially Saints fans that this Trinity side is a pretty good one. Just accept it and help you're club rebuild, how the hell you expect them to do that without your support is a mystery, Your a club with far too many bandwagon jumpers and good-time Charlies, obvious by how many are moaning after a poor but hardly world-ending start to a season. You have no divine right to success regardless of money, support or the players you have, some times it's just not your time. Get a grip.
