No way we could afford him, he's on about 600k AUS which is about 300k GBP. Also i can't see him ever leaving the NRL, we can only wish i suppose.

There must be cap space if we offered Hill (a very good apparently) one year deal which he declined. I've no idea on the timings of when contracts were signed but can't think in what direction that money has gone?
