If he's ready (and I don't watch enough academy games to have an opinion) then I hope he gets a shot, sometimes its too easy to take the safe option of a first team regular out of position.

I think we have to expect the unexpected. I'm sure we are never told what knocks players are carrying. In addition most of us don't know how capable the youngsters are. Those who favour "pick your best team to build momentum" vs. "the cotton wool brigade" will be able to have their usual bit of banter and blame Price if we lose or pick up an injury.

Well clearly Price has decided to rest up some players and if we lose its not really that important. I think that is a fair decision and I am pleased that the youngsters will get another game under the belt. I suspect Ratchford might be on the bench in the hope that he doesn't have to play. That could be in the hope we are winning or more likely in case of an injury. I guess Hughes will almost certainly be playing down the middle as a prop as we are obviously pretty light there.

An intriguing game although I suspect a few of the walk up supporters might give this one a miss.
