Unless they've got a better angle, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get a ban. I can certainly see why they went with yellow not red, not that it mattered much with 6 minutes to go. He is stood square on to Langi as he runs in, which suggests it's not an intentional shoulder charge, where the player turns in towards the ball carrier. If you slow the one angle they showed down, his arms do come up and the tackle seems to be made with the chest, shoulder and right arm. You can see a large blur above Paasi's shoulder which can only be Langi's head, which indicates it wasn't even high, or didn't start high at least, although he could have caught it on the way through, but you can't see it. The exact point of contact from either player cannot be seen as Paasi's body hides it completely, but from the angle they showed it looks like chest/shoulder on chest. Langi's injuries were apparantly neck pain and loss of consciousness, which are typical whiplash injuries. The trip to hospital was obviously very quick and precautionary as he made the plane with the rest of the players around 10/11. The picture of him on the plane shows his face is completely unblemished and no neck brace, so hopefully he's passed all the head tests at hospital.

If they have got an angle that shows direct contact with the head and he gets 4 or 5 I can't complain as there is nothing to prove otherwise, but the main thing is that Langi seems okay bar a sore wrist and should be back for the play offs if not sooner.

FWIW I think it would have been harsh if percival got a ban, Lineham got banned for being Lineham. It is however another example of the judiciary panels inconsistency, especially when it comes to saints players. Linehams incident was no worse than percivals and the same goes last year when he got more games than makinson for the same offence!
