There is also this that makes me think is he really signing for us. I mean if it’s a case of us needing to move someone on (Austin) maybe he just does not want to and is sticking to his current contract. What ever the issue is my guess is it needs sorting sooner than later or it could just end up a reversal and he does go back to Wigan, he could go there now and be playing in 3 weeks time.

It’s not a halfback Wigan need right now, but a couple of props wouldn’t hurt them. |

Think they would be in same boat as Warrington.
They certainly would want him but already have 2 marquee signings in Tompkins and Maloney. As previously mentioned I see Leeds Rhinos as dark horses. |

Hopefully an announcement will be made soon, especially with Williams being left out of the England squad with Wane going on record as saying he should look into finding a club ASAP to get some game time under his belt.
Sorry if this is old news, or not the most reliable source, as this article has a very telling statement indicating that Widdop may be released with immediate effect to accommodate Williams.
