| Yet another decision by this committee that appears to over penalise our club. Quite how some of the cannonball type tackles were not penalised further is beyond my comprehension. One game for a chicken wing. Me thinks it’s about time we started appealing these decisions

| Quote St Helens Wolf="St Helens Wolf"With Hughes suspended it could be a chance to put King in the second row and play Inglis and Mamo at centre. Thewlis or Ratchford at full back depending upon fitness / whether Austin is off the naughty step. Charnley and Lineham on the wings.'"
I would love it if he put king in the second row. We actually looked a decent attacking side(yes, really!)last season when we were forced to play him and currie in the second row. That has the potential to be the best second row in the league.

| I would anticipate Philbin or JClarke to play at second row, since we have loaned out Robson. We shouldn’t be moving King from Centre, he’s in red hot form at the minute and should be playing in his preferred position.

I agree Smiffy and I could also put up with King at SR for a game, or two if we fancy a freshening up/keep everyone on their toes. It keeps things fairly well balanced and whilst he might be LTS's "form player" it's not an unusual interchange or like we are shuffling the whole side to accommodate it, or suggesting King to Prop or FB

expect robson to get called back.
It's a weird one, you would expect just to slot another backrower in (longstaff and wrench have gone out on loan as well haven't they) but past history would suggest the king getting moved as price does his 3 positional changes to sort one problem, thang.

Davis could easily play there for one game.

That particular "Chicken Wing" last weekend was horrible. One game is definitely wrong.

I'm not sure that Price's penchant for multiple moves can be classed as a totally bad "thang" here.
Even with Ashton out we've a good selection headache across our backline, particularly if Ratchford is fit and if Austin and Lineham are off the naughty step. Added to good performances from Mamo (last year's fall guy), Thewlis and Inglis would it be that daft to move King to SR?
I agree with Moe we'd be pretty dynamic. I know teams need someone to do the dirty stuff and it might be Hughes, but there's been plenty of times we've watched him run blind alley lines

| King and Currie in the second row is the best we have in terms of a second row IMO. I would be happy to see that and also happy to see King stay in centres as he is going well. We don't have many options in second row, longstaff of the youngsters looks good but probably better to put Jason Clark or Matt Davis there for one match. Second row is something I think Powell will want to sort next season, our right edge is poor because most moves that way end with second row driving in and being tackled.

Let's be fair on this one before Price gets another bashing.
With very small squads there is always a shortage somewhere and this weakness was obvious at the start of the season ... as we have a surplus of proppy/loose forward types & added to them.
With no reserves you have to lend players out.
Second Row (as played in modern game) is so much like centre. Hughes and Currie have spent time there.
I personally don't think any of our forwards have the passing skills to play wide SR.
So who can move in one position towards the middle of the field ... King, Inglis, Ratchford, Austin ??

| Don't get me wrong, if it was replacing currie, on the left side, I'd probably be reluctant but ok with it.
But like I was unhappy moving our current dream team, form left centre and disrupting our left side attack which has been pretty good so far to accommodate inglis, im unhappy switching our form left side centre to right side second row.
Unless someone can assure me we'll get something akin to the 2nd coming of Gordon Tallis.
Stick one of us forwards there
