| Mamo cannot be dropped. Charnley to miss out for me, and id leave Thewlis in the side also, him and Mamo was excellent against Catalans. Yes Inglis was class but has he still got it? If he plays centre and Mamo is dropped, we have then dropped our only attacking try scoring right edge man! is that fair?

| I’d like to see him in that right centre position. Mamo on the wing, and unfortunately Thewlis would drop out.
The issue comes next week when Lineham is available. I can’t see how Mamo can be left out, unless he selects Inglis in an unfamiliar position, ie: right second row. I’m not advocating that, but I seem to remember when he signed that he mentioned about playing in the pack.
For me, if he’s fit and anywhere near what he was, he needs to play fullback. Best players should touch the ball the most in the most important areas.

| I suspect Mamo is "undroppable but not unmoveable" if Inglis starts then Mamo on the wing would be my guess. Price's comments about him being able to do 80 minutes suggests Inglo will start.

| For me, our best line-up would have Ratchford at full-back, the pace of Ashton and Mamo on the wings, and Inglis and King at centre. Depending on Inglis actually being what we hope he will be, of course. Harsh on Charnley and Lineham, but something's got to give.

This is why I'm umming and ahhhing about having him as a bit of a running 6 should Austin remain dropped. He'd have protection in tackling from inside and outside and would have the chance to distribute rather than run it if he needs a breather. Let Gaz run the game and Inglis chime in when he wants

| All you bods suggesting moving mamo to the wings are giving me flashbacks to him attempting to catch high balls, when he was playing wing.
I'd keep austo dropped, he looked a lot more solid in defence at the weekend, right side has been a mish mash in defence this year till the past weekend,

The opposition are sometimes going to kick to you, whether you are playing wing, full-back or centre. There is a perception among some fans that Mamo can't catch a high ball and never will be able to, but you would hope this is one reason why we have coaching and training - to improve players' skills and abilities. So if catching high balls was a weakness of Mamo's, let's hope it has improved. And anyway, I think his positives outweigh his negatives. The bottom line is that I always think we look a better and more dangerous team with Mamo in it.

| Mamo has never been able to catch high balls effectively. It was the same at Huddersfield and the Newcastle Knights. What he does give is effort, tackle busting and speed. Being at centre hides him from those high kicks as they predominantly go to the winger and fullback.
There is also no way you can put Inglis at fullback having not played for 18 months. It is probably the hardest position to play aerobically. He needs to be eased in.

At centre, yes. You put him at wing or fb and you're increasing the odds of a cock up, and trust me, all the goodwill he has garnered will disappear in one knock on that leads to a try
And fair play to the lad he did say when he arrived he wanted to try and play centre and thats where his best form has come.

And we wonder why the sport is lightyears behind a lot of other sports in this country.
Greg Inglis, one of the greatest ever to play the game of RL and one of the biggest signings in Super League history, makes his debut on Saturday, on the OurLeague app, where only Wire and HKR fans can watch, whilst Super League has just signed a greatly-reduced TV deal with Sky Sports, who won't be broadcasting the game anyway.

I must admit, I’m frustrated at having to watch it on the stream as opposed to being there in person or a proper broadcast. It seems like this moment is going to pass many people by, but this guy is one of the greats! Not just blue and yellow bias, but Greg Inglis is heralded as future immortal regularly.
