I very much doubt his absence tomorrow is due to an expired passport.

I have it on good authority it is although I’m sure Warrington will say a ‘little injury’.

I guess, if his passport has expired, so will his work visa, so it'll be deportation by Monday......

Well if he has let it run out, who amongst us can 'cast the first stone" ? How many times have I turned up at the airport on my way to Greece or Spain for a well deserved holiday only to find mine had run out, or that I had forgot to pack it.
