I know it's the first game and all but what am I watching?

My overall impression last year was good defence with poor attack.

So far it's pathetic attack and poor defence.

Yes Castleford had a few calls go for them that shouldn't have but Castleford actually played like they wanted the game.

Lot's of improvement needed for the next game and the rest of the season.

Well I agree with Peakey as much as Clark is class he's not a creative hooker.

I’ve finally realised where that deja vu feeling came from. It was the Catalans CC Final. That sure fire feeling that the6 could play better, that the game was there for the taking if they stepped up intensity but also knowing deep down that it just wasn’t going to happen.

Pick your game, I'd say most of our performances under price have been like this.

100%. I think it was on this thread where i had to laugh after we had a penalty within their 10. Left right left right nothing. No set moves, no face balls or offs, no 2 out the back. Just trundle it forward 6 times. Depressing to watch.

Who's that on? Austin, Widdop or is that coached into them?

Regarding performance the buck has to stop with the coach, his job is to get the best out of the playing squad and that's not happened at wire for a long while. I think price did great in his first season and the challenge Cup win was a great memory even if we had been dire leading up to it and were dire after it too. Its been too poor far too often for the last 2 seasons IMO. I've mentioned before I don't think price is dishonest and I fully believe he is trying his best, but it just isn't working and it's time for a long overdue change. If we miss out on powell after missing out on Watson I'll be absolutely gutted.
