You don’t get to the level of super league without being a good player. The thing is that are sammy / Keenan etc good enough to hold down a spot in the 17 week in week out ?. The thing I was getting at is Steve price hardly rotates the first 17 and IMO I think a young lad needs 10/15 games on the bounce to see if he is good enough at a certain level . The loans are good for the players but I have a feeling we won’t see them back in a wire shirt

He did, he's off contract at the end of 2021 so this is basically us getting rid of him now. He's not coming back to us end of.

just on the point of academy kids, did anyone hear or listen to the podcast briers was on last month(possibly a bit further back) where he said he would advise against kids going full time, get yourself an education and a job and play part time in the championship, its the best of both worlds rather than trying to be a SL player.
