Quote morrisseyisawire="morrisseyisawire"Sport, and life, have a habit of rewarding dedication, determination, ruthless single mindedness, desire and ability. Persistence is fine for also rans and learning the harmonica.'"
When I say persistence it encompasses determination, dedication, desire. Warrington have made 4 grand finals this decade, in terms of contesting grand finals, that more or less stands up with wigan saints and leeds. So over a long period of time the club have been there abouts. You can expect and reasonably hope to win 50% of the grand finals you play in, leeds won 7 out of 7 from 2007-2017 but that is an exception. Warrington have come up short, but that doesn't mean say over the next decade you don't win 3 out 4 and just about hit that 50% mark.
Little tweaks are needed rather than making vague grandeur gestures like revamping the entire culture at the club and doing this and that. You fell off last year due to the CC win, that happens alot to even the most seasoned of title challengers. This year it's hard to judge because of coronavirus, figure out what went wrong this season, tweak it, and make the grand final next year.
