From a purely selfish Wire point of view you would hope that none of our players were deemed to be at risk following a review of the Wakefield game and that we play Hull FC on Friday with a full strength team.
If you were running the League then you would probably want Wire to stand down and for Leeds to face Hull FC. This spreads the backlog of games (Wire have played 9, Leeds only 8 so you don't want them slipping further behind) and it also minimises the risk of a Wire player testing positive next week having played this week.
We'll just have to wait and see but there are too many players testing positive which doesn't bode well for the rest of the season.
I admire Wire wanting to play on but tbh I can see this scenario happening again next week where two Wire players involved against Hull will test positive for Covid and the game will get postponed etc.
