He's definitely earnt it this season. I'd like to see him taking the line on more but to be fair to him he has been getting better and better for the past season and a half after finally putting his injury nightmare behind him.

Am I missing something here, great news if true, but I haven’t seen any announcements, nothing on twitter or the club website?

Likewise. The Guardian referred to Ben Currie, Jason Clark, Matt Davies and Dec Patton saying that no deals had been completed but that some discussions were more advanced than others with a couple off hopeful positive outcomes.

There was an interview with Toby King where he said that Matt Davies had signed up to house share with him for next season, so maybe he's close to a deal?
