Yeah you've had a lot of good days at our expense. It's much more even now though and the games are alll the better for it. You're a champion club with an army of trolls in support.

For all the years of hurt these 2 games make up for it..just for the fact that lot and there top dog took it it so sportingly..

Our first win of the barren spell against the Merseysiders, when they were playing at Widnes due to their new stadium being built.
The "away" end was packed and rocking, J&M Monas, Briers, Myler, Moz etc ripped em apart.

Does anyone remember the mudbath win in the mid sixties against Saints. The weather was that bad I stayed at home & watched on tv (black & white then).
Saints were on a 20 odd plus run of wins & the Wire won 6-4. Not a pretty sight but an absorbing game.

Go easy on redvee, his obsession with us is quite amusing. Obviously last August had a profound effect on him.
