I’d start at the beginning with little things..,.
No more player thinking he’s bigger than the club....
I’d allow nothing but black boots... gone will be the ‘look at me in my star shiny silver, red, yellow, blue....boots.
No more dying hair to say look at me I’m the marquee.
No rolling socks down to the ankles....look at me with tattoos.
No more wearing cycle shorts....I’m a posy athlete.

Everyone wears the kit and travelling uniform suit correctly as we were taught at school. Ties fastened, polished shoes...no personal Walkmans. Everyone knuckles down and works hard. Everyone look equal and everyone is treated and respected equal.

It might sound trivial or daft to some, but this team is rife with prima donna’s and louts...they need pulling into shape as no player is above the badge on their blazer.
They have a privilege and duty to respect that badge and all it stands for.
.....Then feckin bollox and drop anyone who betrays that.

No use trying to get things right on the pitch, when players can’t get it right whilst travelling down on the players coach.

I’ve never been in the forces but I respect those who have and are. I’m pretty sure on parade before inspections, RSM would tear strips of any soldier who lets slip the equal display standards of his unit.

Some clubs don’t like the marquee principle. Might be a financial reason or a thought it could be devisive . Used to be a time when every player was paid the same, and agents weren’t living it up taking money out of the game. I remember them asking Gareth Edwards why he didn’t come north, he said he couldn’t afford the pay cut.
