This new 'on-field call' rule is terrible, you're giving more weight to the call of an on-field ref who watched it once and in real-time, than to actual video evidence, unless the video evidence is 99% conclusive.

If you take it to the extreme, the on-field ref could have not seen anything but still have to make a call, with 50% confidence. The video evidence could be 80% confident of the opposite call, yet the on-field decision stands. Mental.

Agree with this. The on field 'decision' should be 'I don't know for sure can you have a look and check the this and that' leaving the video ref a clean slate to make the decision.

See we have drifted out to 6/1 to win the grand final..so being a betting man I've had a tenner on us for those who don't understand betting it simply mans putting £10 on a 6/1 shot you lose £10
