| Quote Redvee69="Redvee69"Never mind you could always fly a plane over saints next saturday proclaiming that your the "so called champions" to paraphrase tom lineham, meanwhile we will be trying to win our third world title..........dont bother looking it up , you have to win a domestic championship before you can enter it, something you lot have been totally incapable of doing for 65 years'"
Bet you won't be on here for 3 days when you get thrashed....

| I've been a wires fan a long time and despite our emergence in the last 10 years I can probably still list more gut-wrenching disappointments than euphoria.
But today hurts. Really hurts. I really thought with a ballsy loss to Wigan and an impressive dismantling of Saints we'd finally found the raw desire needed to take the final step. Hell, I even bought into that band of brothers arm-linking nonsense that usually leaves me cold. With the emergence of Ashton and the fitness of Widdop I really thought today would be another statement performance despite my reservations about the starting 13.
Well there you are. I list Wakefield as my #2 team and in Johnstone they have a wonderful winger, but[icome on[/i, a team containing Ratchford, Widdop, Austin, Clark, Currie & BMM amongst others should have had little problem claiming win number 2.
A failure to do so could only come about by lack of heart, being out enthused, arrogance or abject preparation.
Whatever the reason it sticks in my throat and ravages the spririt.

| I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again due to last years injury ravaged season Wakefield have gone under the radar this year and have been heavily underrated - I don’t think you’ll be the last. Pitts and Westerman look inspired signings, genuine grit in Pitt’s and some real class in Westerman.
Still missing three key players in Fifita, Arona and Brough in that order.
Whilst the return of Johnstone would improve any team including yours.
That said I have Warrington down as the strongest contender after Saints, it’s far from over.

| Open forums is the reason you are called RedVee and me RD. That's how we roll. Posting details is against the spirit and a danger.
There's nothing bitching about it.
That's our code.
Have fun and chat but we're are all a universal team regardless of which team we follow.

The conditions suited the forwards battle for sure today, not great for fast, attacking rugby. Wakey just played the conditions better and never let your pack get dominance. I think thats definitely your weak spot, your whole team is class except for 11-13 right in the middle

| A Wire mate said to me at the end of last season that “BMM is like a terminator”, and last week “his mind is on going back too the NRL. I don’t know how true the latter is.
