Well someone said we'd end up bulking up Matty Ashton and he'll lose some of his speed. And they've said we're bulking him up, hopefully just a little bit of extra padding to help him along, be interesting to see if he gets any game time next year. I think it'll be a case of only through injury or suspension (Lineham)

They have to bulk him up, it mentions in the article they dont want to do it to the detriment of his speed - lets hope this is the case.

I guess he will be 2nd reserve behind Mamo, He'll be looking to make an impact I'm sure in the Pre Season friendlies, his target should be to knock Mamo out of first reserve for the wingers spot by the end of the year

i had forgotten we had signed Matty Ashton.... be very interesting to see how he goes again this season.

Im quite excited about matty Ashton, he will have to wait for his chance but I really hope he takes it and puts pressure on the wingers and mamo to perform. He has a lot of potential thats for sure.

Sam Lisone is staying in New Zealand, good job we didn’t go anywhere near him. He looks very average

saw ashton at the shirt launch last week, he's already surprisingly big built, so he probably could put a little weight on and it not affect him too much

Appears strange given we have lost 2 "middles" in Westwood and Tasi.
If we don't manage to recruit another prop then the coaches will really have to earn their money on getting some of the younger players up to super league level. We have 3 ex players on the payroll who could be in a list of some of the best forwards in the super league era (Kylie, Anderson and Westwood) and it would be disappointing if we cannot develop some of what we have got into regular first team players.
