He’ll get the hype now as he’s played well, come back to us and continue his mediocre form and the rumours will go away.

Just for the record, I do like him and I don’t believe we’ve seen anything like what he can produce. He’s shown glimpses of it especially CC final. I hope he does turn it on next season. Maybe he’s finally getting over the niggling injuries he’s been carrying.

South's have a massive hole in their cap. Inglis, G Burgess, J Sutton and S Burgess all gone between the start of last season and now. They could sign Luke Thompson, Latrell Mitchell and BMM and still have plenty to spare. Gillet has had to retire due to injury leaving space on the cap and a second row spot vacant at the Bronco"s.

How so?

We are having enough problems signing a high quality prop without the added problem of another gap in the first team. Plus if he stays for 2020 he will be 30 and not have the same allure for the NRL, meaning we should be able to keep him for another 2-3.

I hate that KF says we're hopeful he honours it......he doesn't have a choice if we don't want to let him go in reality as he has a legal binding contract. So this just screams we're hopeful he stays but if someone wants to pay us a load of money they can have him. I'd be really annoyed if we let him go. I hope it is just the same old crap that happens all the time with players in there last year with a club.

I've had a gut full of players who don't want to perform at a consistent top level and honour deals...if they don't want to be Wire's...they can go and I'll run them to the airport myself...for a fee.

I should imagine his missus would want a stab at a year in SL as captain of the women. I reckon he'll see his contract out.

I’ve kinda got the same feeling with this, I will be shocked if we allow BMM to leave however it wouldn’t be the end of the world. We can still recalled Livett if needs be & with all the other players who have left this year already there will be healthy amount left on the cap to recruit...

Livetts on a season long loan so we won't be able to re-call him back to us. If we let BMM go i'll be ed and lose a bit more faith in KF and Price. Players like BMM don't come around very often and if Price pulls his finger out and plays people properly he'll have an amazing year for us.
