Unfortunately Burrell looked extremely like a deer caught in the headlights last night, he was scared to tackle, when he was infront of us in the first half everytime a saints player came near he stepped to the side to stick a hand out then wondered how they got passed and then went and joined as third man after winger and second row helped him out. Said all saints needed to do in that second half was keep attacking him
It does seem ridiculously early to be passing judgement on Burrell, but he certainly hasn't impressed me so far.
In contrast both Thewliss and Dean (despite his errors), looked really promising. With Thewliss, its not so much his talent but more his determination and effort. Plus he is used to captaincy and hence responsibility. Dean in contrast can look silky smooth in his movement and ball handling, but atm needs the time and space to work his plays. I am sure once he gets used to the speed and lack of space at SL level he can be really good.
