Quote: The Camels Hump "What was Kenny Edwards doing to incite the crowd ? I missed the game and couldn’t see anything on the YouTube clips'"
Basically, as the play was stopped by Childs following the mass brawl on field, the wire players saw what was going on in the stand. Many of the Warrington players had family members in that side of the ground. The players attempted to walk over and gesture to the fans to ‘calm down’ and stop(this was including Catalan players as well), as the players walked over and concern grew Kenny Edwards just out of direct viewing of the Sky Camera’s waved his hands up and down inciting & shouting like a buffoon to carry and ‘keep going’. His own players including I think Remi Casty shoved Kenny Edwards away and told him to stop. I’ve seen video of evidence of this, that along with his housery around the ruck and kneeing players in the head, he ought to be ashamed of himself as a professional rugby league player.
He’s got previous for inciting people to fight at a rugby league game, surprise surprise, his track record in the NRL speaks for itself..
“In 2012 Edwards joined the Southport Tigers in the Gold Coast Rugby League competition. After acting as a trainer in one of the Tigers' under-17s matches, Edwards was accused of repeatedly inciting his team to fight their opponents. He was subsequently banned for the rest of the season, but had the charges downgraded on appeal and was allowed to play for Southport in the final series.”
