I thought Mr.Child had a reasonable game in very difficult circumstances .We can all use selective evidence such as Warrington's 5 high tackles in a short time .
What I want to know is why so many of our players were so stupid when the game was clearly won . This could ruin our chance of a top 5 place despite the easy looking run in . Some of the Warrington players also lack composure to put it mildly .

Players and refs seem to be too pally in the modern game....Refs calling players by their first names and seemingly any member of a team can question the refs decision...The rule used to be that only the team captain could talk to the referee...Ratboy is a big offender but the very worst is the Toronto half back McClone is his name ? For anyone to blame last night on James Child is beyond me. How on Earth is it his fault that grown men felt the need to try and attack Catalans fans? No referee should have to put up with what he did last night. Quite frankly, Warrington fans are thugs who can’t control themselves and resort to violence quite regularly. The behaviour of Chris Hill was also disgraceful. If I was a Warrington fan I would be ashamed of my club because once again you have shown yourselves to be Rugby League’s shame. I hope there is a big fine and points deduction coming your way.

Just watched the full game and James Child had a big job on his hands by way of Chris Hill trying to referee the match, can someone put a muzzle on his gob he was a disgrace. I would expect Edwards to get a fair ban for incitement of more trouble.

I have watched Salford put 90 points on Catalan in 2 games with only 14 against.Catalan played up the middle with their much larger pack.Wire tried to mix it with the Catalan forwards instead of going round the outside.Steve Mac the Cats coach is still coaching as in the old days with big cumbersome aggressive forwards.He obviously told them to take Austin and Ratchford out of the game.Tomkins his usual irritating self going in with knees when 3rd man.Crowd trouble by frustrated fans down to the somebody on the top tier shouting down to wire fans.Childs sorry its time to retire he cant even get video ref correct robbing Salford of victory at Saints.

You watched that game again and the thing you pick up on is a bit of whining from Chris Hill??!! Have a word with yourself? Did you see the two knees to the head causing Daryl mild mannered clark to lose it? Hughes having a testicle ruptured? Austin spear tackled early doors and McIlroum/Edwards (in your eyes) with a pre-meditated high tackle which caused the brawl? Any other team on the receiving end of that and we'd be talking about how grubby Catalans were. One eyed.

Tomkins is usually complaining about something specific or relevant to what's just happened. If Catalans are penalised, he'll claim they didn't do it, or claim a previous decision didn't go their way and was the same. Referees don't mind that sort of interaction, as long as it's not aggressively delivered. Hill is just an idiot and so disrespectful when it comes to talking to the refs. I've never met him so can't say if it's just his level of intelligence that's the issue, but he just comes across as dismissive, ignorant and disrespectful. His communication is so puerile, often he just ignores what the referees have explained to him and repeatedly asks what the penalty was for, when the referee had just told him. He complains at the wrong times, he complains when it's the most blatant decision ever.

I'd be amazed if he's not punished for the 'chat' they had when he was pretending to be Jesus and trying to part the waves instead of just allowing the referee to finish the game like he wanted to so he could get the players off the field. Players have been banned this year simply for appealing for a decision using a swear word, he repeatedly swore right to the refereee's face.

I agree with this. I cringe whenever he speaks to a ref and it never helps us, he just antagonizes them.

Compare that with Morley who, while having many run-ins with refs, knew how to speak to them.
