In our first set with the ball in the game, one of our players was punched in the face on the floor and two tackles had knees in from their players... Unpunished!.. and that was the first set and set the tone for the game.
Plus it’s the knock-on effect. The air of violence was set for the night with that first set and the ref doing nothing, and doing nothing again and again and again for horrendous Catalan tactics. There were running battles on the pitch and it feeds into the stands.
