Don’t think the cap would be a problem,Atkins leaving, doubt Westwood will get another year Akauola not yet offered a new contract and who ever else that has not been mentioned.

I've watched him closely in games on Sky. I'm afraid he's not what he was. He is yet to show any form this season. I don't think he would improve our team at all. Not for me.

More surprised that Souths want to take him back at this stage of his career.

Players with Martin Gleeson's skill set are as rare as the proverbial. Shame about the other issues, though.
Goodwin's done ok for us, but time to move on. Watkins wont be coming to the HJS.

Have you seen him play over the last 18 months? He really shocked me at the Magic Weekend. He looks like he's been working out his upper body but ignoring his legs and as soon as anyone touched him, he fell over. He's lost his pace and just looked completely lost. I wonder if his injuries are more severe than has been admitted as he's just not recovered anything of the sharpness and speed he once had. Leeds have resorted to playing him at 13 because he's just doing nothing at centre. 2 tries in 16 games this season for Watkins and he just doesn't look a threat at all. If you can identify a physical problem with him and fix it, or improve him mentally, which has been talked about as an issue you'd have a superb player. But signing the Watkins who is running around for Leeds this season would be a disaster.

His body looks almost strange. His legs look like a marathon runner’s, not a rugby player’s.

From what I saw today, any worries we may have had about BG doing a Barba on us were unfounded....superb game against Cats
