| Ratchford is one of the most overrated players in SL... always prone to dropping a ball, poor defensively, lacks the speed/power to finish off half breaks, not a great rugby brain.
He is like a poor mans prime Sam Tomkins... without the electrifying speed and rugby brain.
He should have just stayed in the centres and put a bit more muscle on, doesn't have the pace, defence or rugby brain to be a great fullback.

Could not agree more. The perfect example of a flat track bully. Although his kicking has been superb this season. But then again, Hodgson could kick AND play full back properly.

All this may be true yet he is one of our few attacking threats ...

| Really surprised that Wire fans are jumping on the Ratchford bashing bandwagon. But we have just lost a game so...

| I'm actually quite positive about Ratchford this season.
I think his career is on an upward trajectory as he hits his early 30s, which is what Briers did. He's ironing out some of his flaws.

| He took a knock against Hull that last tackle he made. Looked like shoulder hopefully just a sting or we are in trouble. One of our best players for me and one of our only attacking options.

| Word is that Ratchford out for 8-10 weeks and Atkins 4-6 weeks.
So we can forget about him dropping in at half back for a while

| Looked bad when he was walked off by the physio. His arm was swinging like it was shoulder. Hope 8 - 10 weeks is an exaggeration.
