What was yesterdays official attendance ?

Tough game with Wigan putting in arguably their best performance of the season so far. Good to win a really close game to show we can. Shows great strength of character and team spirit. To add to the controversy, if the game was not on telly that Wigan try would most probably have been given. At the game, sat in the North stand looked like a try. to me.

Special mentions to Coops, Hilly, Clarky and Ratch, especially for Ratchford's kicking a master class. His kicking won us the game. Others have sometimes belittled the need for a top notch kicker but games like this just show how they can make a difference.

Is that he lowest for an HJ era Wire v Wigan game ?

Perhaps but probably along with London as the biggest earners this season.

I think the problem is because Wigan have near equal say into the game day financial return and a strong ticket running by the RFL ...there isn't a lot Wire can do for game day experience or discounts.
I appreciate the correction to this.

Bradford v Leeds had no problem with attendance.

Exactly, fantastic support from the West Yorkshire clubs, particularly as they must be 'sick of the sight' of each other playing against each other week virtually in week out

BTW I was disappointed with the turnout. Not really an excuse, but, perhaps free to air TV and Association Football can also take some of the blame this week?

This west yorkshire derby doesn't happen very often these days. Perhaps the novelty value helped?
