I'd say it would be harsh if it's his 1st offence but it's the 3rd time.
People have a right to their religious beliefs but he defends his homophobia by quoting bible passages. It'd be such a horrendous message if Super League was his salvation (pun intended).
As for the bible: Leviticus 19:28 ”You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.” If you're going to take it literally, don't pick and choose the parts you want in order to defend views that need to be left in the past.
